Pickleball in Sharon, Massachusetts

Sharon's local game is centered on the outdoor courts at Deborah Sampson Park. They are the best in town choice for a casual group in good weather. Sharon Recreation does not currently run a broad indoor pickleball calendar, so players seeking lessons, staffed open play, leagues, or dependable winter access use nearby clubs in Foxborough and Stoughton.

Where to Play Pickleball in Sharon

Deborah Sampson Park on East Foxboro Street, just off South Main Street, has four outdoor pickleball courts. Sharon Recreation lists the court area as open. The park also has a separate tennis court, basketball courts, and athletic fields. The pickleball area suits players who bring a group and want a simple public outdoor session.

ELEVENO Pickleball at 340 Patriot Place in Foxborough is the best nearby all weather option. It has nine indoor courts, six seasonal outdoor courts, open play, reservations, lessons, leagues, and tournaments. Martini's Indoor Pickleball & Athletic Club at 333 Tosca Drive in Stoughton adds 24 hour member access, nonmember play, and a large indoor program east of Sharon.

Pickleball Lessons Near Sharon

ELEVENO teaches complete beginners through advanced players. Options include individual lessons, Play With a Pro, small group instruction, full clinics, and a progressive Pickleball 101 through 104 bundle. Individual lesson pricing starts at $25. Current intro sessions run Tuesday and Friday from 6 to 7 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 1 p.m.

Martini's offers a free Intro to Pickleball lesson every Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. It is a strong first step for someone who wants to learn scoring and basic court movement indoors before joining open play. Players seeking an independent instructor can also use the Coaches section.

Open Play, Leagues, and Pickleball Events

Games at Deborah Sampson Park are primarily self organized. The courts work best for a foursome, a practice partner, or a local group that already coordinates its own rotation. Sharon Recreation's fall 2026 program calendar does not include a recurring staffed pickleball session at the park.

ELEVENO supplies the closest consistent open play. Tiered sessions currently run Monday through Friday from 7 to 9:30 a.m. and 8 to 10 p.m. Standard open play costs $15 and does not require membership. Players may enter alone or with a partner and are matched at their level.

The Foxborough club also runs a Tuesday coed DUPR league for levels 2.75 through 3.5, Women's Wine Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday Night Lights from 7 to 10 p.m., sanctioned and in house tournaments, and monthly glow socials. Martini's provides additional level based open play and includes 12 open play sessions each month with its pickleball membership.

Visiting Sharon for Pickleball

A visitor with partners can use Deborah Sampson Park for an outdoor game. The public setting has no staffed matching service, so it is not the best plan for someone arriving alone. Weather also determines whether the local courts are useful on a short trip.

Solo visitors have a clear route at ELEVENO. Open play requires no membership, supplies level matching, and runs in morning and evening blocks. Court rentals start at $40 per hour for a private group. Martini's also accepts nonmembers and offers free beginner intro sessions. These indoor facilities are the practical choices during winter, rain, or a visit that needs a guaranteed program.
